Revealed: When William Saliba will return to Arsenal

Arsenal signed William Saliba from Saint Etienne in the summer, but as part of the deal, he was sent back on loan to his boyhood club. Arsenal did the best they possibly could to convince the French club to let him leave without a loan clause but all to no avail.

William Saliba has now taken in a full loan spell in the old mining city of Saint-Etienne, and is nearing a much anticipated return to the Emirates.

The French Ligue1 was unfortunately terminated without winner due to the Corona Virus Pandemic and a need to put the health of the players and fans as priority, hence all players on season long loan deals have completed the seasons, with only the formalities left to detach the player from the loan club.

The player will join up with his team mates soon enough but will however have to wait till the end of the Premier League season to be officially eligible to compete in the red and white shirt.
