Gabon FA president tells Aubameyang how to decide future

Amidst Aubameyang's contract situations and a failed bid at a renewal, it's becoming more uncertain by the day. Aubameyang will be in the final year of his contract by the summer and talks of an exist have been continuously sparked.

The president of the Gabon football association has weighed in on what he feels should be Aubameyang's next step. The president feels that Arsenal aren't ambitious enough to give Aubameyang the silverware he deserves.

"I dont want to say that Arsenal arent ambitious, but Arsenal dont have ambitions as high as some other clubs as far as Europe is concerned. So if Pierre could secure a contract with a more ambitious club, he'd definitely find his place there" he said

He has urged Pierere-Emerick Aubameyang to continue working hard to attract the interest of bigger clubs across Europe, as he continued

"On an individual level, we all consider him to be among the best players in the world, but the advice I give to him is to continue to work & to attract the attention of the biggest clubs & the most ambitious clubs"

"All Gabonese people see Aubameyang at this level, where he can now end his career at a major club & above all, beyond individual trophies, to bring home a major competition" he concluded.
