Arsenal table bid for Thomas Partey

Thomas Partey rumours never die, do they? Just after reports surfaced that Thomas Partey was set to sign an extension and kill rumours of a potential swoop from Arsenal, new rumours have emerge and this time from a relatively reliable source.

According to 'Corriere dello sport', Arsenal have tabled a €50m bid for the player who is in the final year of his contract. Atletico have clearly been keen on tying down the player to a new contract but talks have stalled.

Thomas Partey may be eyeing a move away and Arsenal would do well to convince him to choose the red side of London as his next destination.

It remains to be seen how true the report is with the summer transfer window still some time away as the season is still on a halt.
