Arsenal players reject the club decision amidst COVID-19



It was revealed that the English Premier League were working on agreeing a pay cut with players in other to help balance the finances amidst the COVID-19 outbreak that has caused the shutdown of footballing activities in the country, stopping a good aspect of revenue flow into the clubs.

 According to reports for 'The sun', Arsenal players have rejected a 12.5 per cent pay cut across the next year in a vote on Monday afternoon.

Players were asked to consider reducing their wages over the next 12 months after football was suspended due to the coronavirus crisis.

Incentives on new contracts were offered as terms, with any deducted wages being added on top of a fresh salary agreement

This will come as a major headache to the club with finances tightening up as the days pass.
