Club legend says Arsenal target won't leave club

With Alexandre Lacazette in dismal form, many have suggested Arsenal dispatch him, whether it is a short sighted view or not is not the case here. There had been suggestions that Arsenal should make moves for Wolves' Mexican forward Raul Jimenez, but Wolverhampton's legend and all-time top scorer, Steve Bull has suggested the forward has no reason to leave his current employers.

"I cannot see any intention why he would want to leave. Raul can score goals for fun as he has the talent, the work-rate and, most importantly, the supply." he said

"It is not as if he has been running his socks off, doing a lot of work for the club, and getting nothing in return. He gets opportunities in every single match he plays, so no wonder he is happy being here. La Liga giants, of course, have been linked with Raul in the Spanish press." he continued.

"And even though Raul has come out and outlined his commitment to Wolves, such speculation is likely to continue over the next few months. It shows how far we have come when our footballers are being associated with such clubs."

"The ultimate question, though, is whether Raul can fulfil his ambitions, winning silverware, at Wolves? For me at least, the answer to that is an emphatic yes.", Steve concluded.

It remains to be seen in the coming window though, if Arsenal actually holds genuine interest in the Mexican forward
