What really happened to Alexandre Lacazette?

As last season was winding to a close, it was inconceivable to sell Alexandre Lacazette, he was a very important player to the team and absolutely key to our system. It's not coincidental that he won the Arsenal player of the season.

Fast forward the odd year later and many fans are calling for his head, he's now quite high on many people's list of offload targets. That's how time flies in football, this game can be very brutal, the fans can be singing your praises one day you perform well and bash you immediately you take a drop off. No one knows this, right now, more than Alexandre Lacazette.

Alexandre Lacazette started this season with a niggling injury which has proven a deterrence all season. Historically, Lacazette has found it difficult to kick into form after injuries, like the the 13-Game goal drought in his first season here.
His performances have been dire, his confidence very low and the fans not inspiring any either.

Lacazette has lost his place in the xi, but probably temporarily with Mikel Arteta clearly a fan of the Frenchman. Alexandre Lacazette is a proven performer, a drop in form this season must not attract the hasty decision of a transfer out of the club except he demands for one. Big players do have the odd bad season and Lacazette is no exception, but you can be sure he'll be right back.
